Animal Collective have announced details of their global tour in advance of the release of their latest album, Centipede Hz. Taking in just three UK cities, there’s not masses of opportunities to see them while they’re over here.
Centipede Hz is scheduled for a release date of the 3rd September 2012, with the UK gigs starting November, later in the year. The British leg of the tour takes in just London, Manchester and Glasgow.
With nothing but the freak out hype of the teaser vids to go on, it’s hard to second guess what the new album is going to be like, but the gigs will undoubtedly be the only opportunity to hear them live this year.
Tickets are on-sale now from their website (https://myanimalhome.net/tickets/), coming in at the £20 mark, which is pretty impressive for one of the world’s most experimental electro-psych bands.
