Makes Back to the Future 2 seem like it could be possible… Next step hoverboards!
Growing up in the eighties means that I have a massive love of films like Ghostbusters and Back to the Future 2. When Marty McFly blasted into the future with the Doc to save his future self he opened up a vision of how things might look in 2015. Flying cars, hoverboards and transforming clothes were all the rage, and the dresses in the video below make it all seem possible.
Agyness Deyn puts in an appearance in a stunning shape shifting short white see-through dress with a Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element style bikini underneath. There’s also some random nakedness at the end, but it’s all done in the best possible taste (insert Kenny Everett voiceover).
Created by British designer Hussein Chalayan, most of the collection looks stunning. I’m hoping that he’s been in production since the runway shoot in 2007 and that high street productions are on their way. Hopefully, he’ll be very successful and then he can turn his attention to the more challenging job of inventing hoverboard that works just like the ones from Back to the Future 2.
