Jerry Seinfeld live at London’s O2 Arena!

Jerry SeinfeldBow ba-bow bow bow, bow bow-bow. Seinfeld’s coming to London! Since his NBC show finished way back in 1998, there haven’t been too many opportunities to see Jerry live on stage. Running for a total of nine series, the show was one of the funniest sit-coms on TV throughout the 90s, but the last time he did a live show in the UK was 12 years ago (it was on the same day as the World Cup final, but it was still a sell-out).

Jerry Seinfeld started out doing stand-up in New York during the eighties, and the show at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday 2nd June 2011 is a great chance to see him.

If you’ve never seen Seinfeld, then check out the You Tube clip above. There are loads more clips on You Tube, which I just spent the last hour watching, probably waking up the whole house with the sound of me laughing. There’s also a video of Jerry live on the David Letterman show. The pop-tarts bit is hilarious.

Jerry Seinfeld was also the voice of the bee from Bee Movie, which I watched recently with a hangover, struggling with a Berocca (which eventually made me throw up violently in someone else’s bathroom). Anyway, the point is that if he can make me like a cartoon about a bee that can talk to humans while I’m feeling grimmer than grim then he’s a bit of a legend, which he is.
