
That said, for everyone that had already shelled out for a PS Vita it was something significant to look forward to. The graphics look genius, especially the comedy of the cut scenes, so having the game on the move on a console that hasn’t necessarily been know for great titles was as big a hit as it gets for the Sony device.
This time around there are a few more superheroes for backup as the Justice League, including Superman, The Green Lantern and Wonder Woman, get involved on the Gotham crime fighting scene to help Batman and Robin. With both Lex Luthor and the Joker on the rampage there were little LEGO pieces everywhere.
One of the best features in any LEGO game is the co-op playability and LEGO Batman 2 was no exception. Getting to buddy up Superman’s heat ray with Wonder Woman’s lasso or Batman’s utility belt is class. Although, all of that pails slightly at the thought of the first fully flying LEGO character as “Is it a bird? Is it a plane?” takes to the darkened skies.
LEGO Batman 2 DC Superheroes had its release date on all formats, including the Nintendo 3DS and Playstation PS Vita on the 22nd June 2012. You can check out the trailer above to see some of the KEPOW! or FLEDUMPH! (or something along those lines), for yourself.
The LEGO Caped Crusader has gone on to be so popular that he’s now getting his own film to match all of the gaming fun he’s had. The Lego Batman Movie will be release in 2017, a whopping five years after the game’s release.
