Cara Delevingne Puma trainers, Forever Free Pride 2021 UK details

The always excellent actor, model and LGBTQIA+ activist, Cara Delevingne, has two new sets of Puma trainers out for 2021 as part of her latest Forever Free Pride collection. The main lace-up daps are based on the classic Puma running shoes with a Pride rainbow design all along the section between the tread and the upper area of the athletic shoes.

They’re are a part of Delevingne’s wider collection that also includes other footwear options with a pair of slides that feature the Pride rainbow arching over the top of your feet. You can see the trainers and the slides side-by-side in the picture below, but the choice doesn’t stop there with a Forever Free 2021 design take on Puma Suedes also included.

The picture for the Suede trainers isn’t a close-up, but you can catch a glimpse of Cara Delevingne wearing them in the promo video at the bottom of the page, along with the leggings and t-shirt, which she wears ruched up and tied off at the side. It’s a cool look for anyone to try to replicate.

The Suedes are pretty close in style to the classic athletic shoe that they’re based on, but the tongue includes the 2021 collection tag line design. If you can’t see it well enough in the video, it says Belief Fights Fear Forever Free and you can see it in more detail on the leggings at the begging of the video.

We’re also expecting to see more of the collection from Cara Delevingne and Puma in the buildup to Pride 2021, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for their tweets and posts over the next few days. You can follow Cara on Twitter at twitter.com/caradelevingne to see more on the collection, her work and activist efforts. You can also keep tabs on Puma on Instagram at www.instagram.com/puma/.

In addition to the trainers, slides, leggings and t-shirt, the Forever Free Pride 2021 collection also includes more tees, hoodies, a body suit and accessories. The range will go live globally on the Puma website in June to coincide with Pride, so you can see everything together.

Pride 2021 starts on Friday the 4th June and continues into the Saturday on the same weekend with events planned throughout the month. However, the global pandemic has taken its toll and events have changed dates. For example, in the UK, both London and Birmingham Pride have been moved to September, while Blackpool Pride will go ahead on the 5th June. You can see more details for the dates at gayprideshop.co.uk/pages/uk-gay-pride-calendar-2021.

All of that aside, the Puma Cara Delevingne trainers will allow you to show your support for the movement and communities throughout the year. They’re a strong look for the gym, hitting the tarmac or just slouching in the garden on a sunny day. Hopefully, we’ll get to see the actor back on the big screen soon too now that cinemas are opening again. Having had impressive performances in Suicide Squad and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, it’ll be good to see her taking on a new project.

Although, in all fairness, she might be busy on Carnival Row Series 2, which was renewed on the year of its release in 2019. Production has obviously been hampered by the COVID 19 pandemic, but it should arrive in the next year or so. For now, you’ll just have to make do with the Forever Free Pride 2021 collection.
