That should give you a good starter in terms of how the campus level system works, but it doesn’t tell you everything. Follow along with the tips below to land the increase you need and you can see a little more detail in the video too, where you can see the Campus Overview screen to be able to check how your getting on:

  • The first factor in terms of how to increase your campus level is staff. This is simply the number of teachers, assistants and janitors that you have at your campus, so to boost this element you simply need to hire more of them.
  • Next up is the average qualification level for your staff and to begin with this is simply a derivative of their experience when you hire them. To increase this, simply hire better staff and fire anyone that isn’t that experienced. Later in the game, you’ll also be able to train staff, which will also contribute to your average qualification level.

  • The second main factor is students, but this is more complicated. To increase the number of students you need more dorm rooms, more class rooms, more libraries, more teachers and assistants, and more courses.
  • Average level for students is next, and to get this up you need to upgrade courses, improve and increase classrooms, have more lecture theatres and libraries and action assignment notices in your inbox. However, the improvements you make to the rooms must be focused on education. Putting in a pot plant and a bin won’t improve the average level of students, but adding an experiment station into your Science Lab will. It’s a similar situation for cubicles in libraries.

If you don’t know how to upgrade courses or to get the course points you need for this you can check out the video below. The general gist is that you’re trying to attract better students in the first place, so the better the educational facilities then the higher this is.
  • Next you’ve got rooms. The first in this section is simply the number of them, so increase this along with the other factors in the list and you’ll increase your campus level.
  • However, again it’s the secondary factor that is the more complicated. This is room prestige and it relates to the score the room gets on its details when you click on it. To increase this, it’s just a case of adding in more items into the room, but you might also need to expand to be able to do that effectively. Variety is a big factor, as well as attractiveness, which has its own bar further down on the details.

A good approach is to check your average room prestige in the Campus Overview page from the bottom menu and then look for rooms that are below that average. Improve them with new items and good variety until they are above the average and repeat that process until your average prestige goes up.

With all of the tips above you should be able to increase your campus level fairly frequently in Two Point Campus, especially for the early objectives that you get.
