FNAF movie streaming UK

The FNAF movie is on at the cinemas at the moment, but with mixed results from movie reviews you might be wondering when it will be streaming in the UK. The crazy reality is that it’s already available to stream in the US through Peacock, but this doesn’t carry over to the UK at the moment, so we’ll take you through all of the details and where we think things will end for the film in terms of streaming.

Just to set the record straight for reviews, the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie had its worse response from critics at big publications, however, that hasn’t been the same for audiences or fans of the series that have seen the film on the big screen. If you look at a cross section ofa big review publications, the FNAF movie is probably averaging 2.5 stars. That’s a rough guesstimate, but on Google’s audience power it’s up to 4.3/5 with over 3000 contributions, which looks a whole lot better.

What this means is that the film hasn’t gone down too well with the slightly jaded critics for the big publications, but there are plenty of people that have seen the film and enjoyed it. If that’s you, drop a comment below to let us know what you think of the film, but for now we’ll get into the details for the FNAF movie streaming in the UK to give you an idea of where and when to expect it.

Where is the FNAF movie streaming likely to be available?

With the deal the US in place for Peacock this is probably going to carry over to the UK as well with the streaming channel already available through Sky and Now TV. However, the content is different between the two regions, so it’s not available in the UK as of yet, but from our point of view it’s only a matter of time.

We’ll get onto when it will probably stream on Peacock in the UK in the section below, but we’re not expecting this to be too far in the distant future. There’s a lot of uncertainty in the film industry at the moment, and with the slightly indifferent reviews it’s bound to take its toll on the performance of the film at the box office, which might push home media a little faster.

You can read the section at the bottom page in terms of whether or not it’s possible to get the US version of Peacock in the UK, but if you’re just waiting for the direct route then it seems likely that the film will come to the streaming channel in time. It’s hard to know if this is going to be a permanent exclusive deal or a timed exclusive deal, so as things stand the only thing that’s a relatively sure bet is Peacock.

You can read more details with the link below for the rent online release date for the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, which will make the film available for streaming either through purchase or rental from the likes of Amazon prime, iTunes, the Google Play store and YouTube. If you’re wondering whether or not there will be any other channels for streaming, we’ll pick this up in the section below as well, but as things stand, it’s a low bet in the short term.

Will the FNAF movie ever stream on Netflix?

As mentioned above, this is a possibility, but probably not anytime soon. There’s clearly a deal in place with Peacock, but it’s not clear how long or permanent this is going to be. Netflix is the next biggest contender in the list, so we won’t be surprised if FNAF does go on to stream in the UK on the channel at some time in the future.

Netflix has already streamed other Blumhouse films like the first two Insidious movies and more recently Halloween Kills. It’s worth bearing in mind that these normally arrive years after the cinematic release. As such, you probably shouldn’t expect it either in 2023 or 2024, so if you’re looking for your best chance to see the FNAF movie then it’s cinema first, Peacock and rental/purchase home media second.

When is the FNAF movie likely to stream in the UK?

With a fair few critical reviews, it doesn’t look like the FNAF movie has had the best start at the box office, although the numbers don’t look too bad, so this might impact when it will land for streaming. It’s possible that the production might want to make the most out of cinema and home media sales/rental before going to streaming, but Peacock really isn’t that big in the UK so it probably makes sense for it to have a dual release for streaming and digital.

The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie will probably get all of October and possibly November to land on the big screen, but with the winter holidays coming up it makes sense to push to home media and streaming around then. As a result, it’s possible that it will come to Peacock in the UK as early as late November 2023, or more likely the following month with a bid to land well and build subscribers for the network over here during the Christmas break.

There are no official details as of yet, so it’s also possible that it will go a completely different way in the end, so we’ll keep you updated with everything that we know as it becomes available. For us, 2024 would probably be a bit of a mistake with the negative impact of the reviews already fairly heavily on the chin for the FNAF movie, so before New Year is still our best bet.

As mentioned above, drop a comment below to let us know what you think of the film once you see it to help others make their mind up as well. Sometimes films can miss the bar, but still be enjoyable to watch on the big screen first so it’s good to get a rounded view on this.

Is it possible to stream Peacock US in the UK?

As with other US streaming services, you can get them to to work in the UK with VPN server based on the other side of the Atlantic. It’s a convoluted process, but it can be done as far as we know, but it isn’t something that we’ve bothered with.
