With the different cinema runs either side of the Atlantic, you might be wondering about the Puss In Boots The Last Wish UK DVD, Blu-ray and digital release date. The film came out in North America in December 2022, but it didn’t arrive in the UK until February, so this will inevitably have an impact on the home entertainment release.

AdvertisementThe story sees Puss off on a new adventure in a bid to reset the clocks after he discovers that’s he’s down to the last of his nine lives. He needs the power of the Wishing Star to restore him to his former glory and prevent him from fizzling out of his fury suit.
He isn’t on his own, though, as he’ll have Kitty Soft Paws (Salma Hayek) along for some moral and sword fighting support, as well as therapy dog Perrito (Harvey Guillen). They’ll be hunted all the way by Goldylocks (Florance Pugh) and her Three Bears Crime Family (Olivia Coleman and Ray Winston).
If you’ve already got the first Puss In Boots, along with the last three Shrek films on DVD, Blu-ray and digital then the sequel is probably a good shout. The 2nd film has had its run in UK cinemas, but you’ll still need to buckle up for a slightly longer wait than in North America for the home entertainment release.

UK Blu-ray, digital and DVD release date latest
AdvertisementFollowing the arrival of the film on on the big screen on the 3rd February 2023, the Puss In Boots 2 UK Blu-ray, digital and DVD release date should be between late-April and June 2023. However, with the recent arrival of the Home premier early access (20th March 2023), you’ve got the more expensive digital purchase and rental now available.
In terms fo the rest of the home media formats, the exact date is still to be confirmed, but it’s already out in the US on all formats, including standard rental. This normally means that the DVD, Blu-ray and and standard digital in the UK won’t be too far behind, which adds to the potential for an April release.
However, Amazon currently has it down to come out on June 30th, 2023, so it could be later still. This could just be a holding date, though, so we’ll update you with more details as they’re confirmed.
North America release date latest
The home entertainment release for Puss In Boots The Last Wish in North America was much earlier than in the UK. For a start, it came out to buy on early access Home Premier on the 6th January in the US, so it was available to watch at home before the cinema release in the UK.
AdvertisementThe early access rental wasn’t too far behind it and then the DVD, Blu-ray and digital options were all out in March. This will give it the Easter holidays to land well in the States.
