Glow Season 3 music and episode song list

Glow Season 3 music and episode song list

Having had a lot of success with the two previous series, Netflix has recently announced Glow Season 3 and the music has already started off on a high note. It doesn’t have a theme tune as such, but you can check out the first song from the upcoming list in the trailer below. With Las Vegas as the setting, it’s about is iconic 80s as it gets blasting out during the latter half of the trailer.

If the opening song associated with the 3rd season is anything to go by then the rest of the music is going to be just as amazing as it has been since Glow first landed on Netflix back in 2017. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you’ve got a couple of series to catch up on ahead of the Season 3 release date on the 9th August 2019 and you can read our review to find out more about what to expect. You can see the last two series on Netflix at www.netflix.com/title/80114988.

For everyone else, the upcoming return picks up with the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling as the show is moved to the Fan-Tan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. There are a lot of story threads to pick up with Ruth’s romantic life taking the strain of a long distance relationship, Bash properly realising that he likes men and the whole Sam Ruth thing, which is anyone’s guess.

Glow Season 3 trailer music

The trailer above adds to the excitement about the show, not least of all because of the music. In addition to the Vegas inspired elevator dramatics in the first half, there’s also the brilliance of Roxette’s Listen To Your Heart, which dates back to 1988, which ties in with the timeline for the real-life wrestling show, Glow, which the show is based on.

It originally ran from 1986 to 1992, so we’re hoping this gives the show plenty of room for more seasons after three. The song ties in well with the story and if Netflix listens to Glow fans as much as it listens to its fuzzy corporate heart then the might well be seasons 4, 5, 6 and 7 for the gorgeous ladies and they’re crazy world.

Episode song list…

Okay, this is obviously anyone’s guess at the moment. The show isn’t out until August 9th, so there isn’t really anything to add at this stage, but come that date we’ll be filling in the blanks with a binge-fest of epic proportions to give you a song list and synopsis for each of the episodes. For now you can take a listen to Roxette’s Listen To Your Heart in full with the music video below

For us, our big hopes for the upcoming series include T’Pau China in Your Hand, Nik Kershaw’s Wouldn’t It Be Good, Roxette’s Joy Ride and Paula Abdul’s Opposites Attract. You can throw in your own ideas in the comments section of our Facebook post for Glow Season 3 songs.
