The album combines muddy Brit-rock guitar with psych tendencies and French pop vocals, spinning out some great stand out tracks like, Endless Shore, which you can listen to on our post about the release of Melody’s Echo Chamber from last year. It’s got great acoustics with inevitable heavy echoing reverb and an impressively unique sound that you spans throughout the album.
Melody’s Echo Chamber gigs 2013:
3rd May 2013 – Liverpool Sound City Festival
4th May 2013 – Leeds Live At Leeds Festival
5th May 2013 – London Alexandra Palace (Grizzly Bear ATP)
25th May 2013 – Barcelona, Spain, Primavera Sound Festival
31st May 2013 – Porto, Portugal, Primavera Sound Festival
25th June 2013 – London Hammersmith Apollo (w. Tame Impala)
29th June 2013 – Glastonbury Glastonbury Festival
The band is spearheaded by singer and songwriter, Melody Prochet (see picture), who’s French routes are pretty apparent on the music. Picking up slots for both Glastonbury and Primavera is no mean feat, so she’s clearly caught the attention of a lot more than just our own musical sonar team.
The band has also recently recorded a number of live sessions to give you a chance to see what to expect from the gigs this year. Check it out below:
